Using the brand
The short version of the brand rules, for anyone making something with Doorstep in it.
Do
- Use the logo files as they are. The wordmark is never retyped.
- Show Doorstep at night: midnight blue ground, one porch-yellow door.
- Credit characters by name and role, like Benny, the bouncer.
- Use the game's words: Today's door, Door #142, a line, Warm and Wary, You're in, Bounced, porch light.
- Write in sentence case, without exclamation marks.
Don't
- Recolour, stretch, rotate or outline the logo, or add gradients, glows or drop shadows to it.
- Put white text on porch yellow. Text on yellow is midnight blue.
- Use the arch shape for anything but doors and portraits.
- Crop characters out of their doorways or draw new expressions for them.
- Redraw the Download on the App Store badge. Use Apple's.
